Originally designated Venezuelan Space Center (CEV), created on November 28, 2005. Later, the requirements grew and the body was renamed the Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities (ABAE). The same is to design, coordinate and implement the policies of the National Executive, related to the peaceful use of outer space, and act as decentralized entity specializing in aerospace in the country.
