The Agencia Bolivariana para Actividades Espaciales (ABAE; In English, Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities) is an agency of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) responsible for developing and carrying out the policies of the National Executive of Venezuela regarding the peaceful use of outer space. Originally designated Venezuelan Space Center (CEV), created on November 28, 2005. Later, the requirements grew and the body was renamed the Bolivarian Agency for Space Activities (ABAE). The same is to design, coordinate and implement the policies of the National Executive, related to the peaceful use of outer space, and act as decentralized entity specializing in aerospace in the country. Since its inception has been working on the launch of the first artificial satellite Venezuela, the Simon Bolivar Satellite (VENESAT-1), which became operational phase on October 29, 2008 and the Satellite Miranda (VRSS-1) 29 September 2012. ==See also==
